Hi, I’m a 21 years old male. I was prescribed Proscar 1.25mg to be taken once every other day. I was wondering whether that skipping a day dosing suggested by my doctor will affect the proper functioning of the drug? According to Hairlosstalk.com , here’s what they say:
“Propecia should be administered at 1mg daily in [...]

I shaved my stomach and chest a while ago, and in a lot of places there are two, [...]

Following a scrape on the knee and an ear piercing I developed keloids. Would that present a potential problem whether I were to undergo transplpant surgery?
Yes, it may present a problem, particularly since you developed a keloid after a loner needle piercing.

I saw an episode of the Simpsons many years ago that had a premise where Homer had a scalp transplant from an executed criminal. His new beautiful head of hair was possessed. I think it was a Halloween episode. besides, now I’m reading that that could be true (without the possessed hair from a criminal)!
Here’s [...]

So, when you get a transplant, MUST you shave your head? Kind of negates the whole deal. I have a very public job (actor) and the final thing I want to do is show up bald for a performance… thanks
Nope. Some doctors recommend shaving or clipping the hair shut, but like you said, it would [...]

Can dying your hair whilst taking propecia effect it from working properly?
Nope. Propecia has nothing to do with the external hair shaft.
