Smoking and hair loss

A moment study has been done to experiment the theory that smoking accelerates hair loss and graying. The results were the same as the 740-man study conducted in Taiwan final year—smoking DOES speed up the hair loss process.

The recent study included 600 subjects, both men and women. Half of the group were smokers. After conducting tests, the results showed a “significant” and “consistent” link amidst smoking and graying at an early age. The only question that remains is why? Researchers believe the toxins in cigarettes may directly affect the scalp.

Antihistamine and Hair Loss
