We have always expected the best from makes like Givenchy, so they didn’t disappoint us with their latest innovative cosmetic line.
The so called Le Soin Noir Yeux is a superb black eye cream and it is the first ever black eye cream that is offered on the market.
The company has used a special innovative technology, called Vital Black Algae Sap Concentrate. that technology is said to affect the skin with its regenerative effect and it is extremely good for the skin cells.
According to the tests, after 28 days of usage the wrinkles in the area are diminished and the skin is firmer and younger. The innovation of the black cream is said to be just like a cosmetic procedure. The black moisturizer is working better than any other cream, for it combines ingredients that are revitalizing the skin.
For now, Le Soin Noir Yeux is in limited edition and it will be released in September.

So I was going through some photos a couple of weeks ago – you know, the eternal project of trying to get the pile of pictures in boxes and envelopes organized and into albums. The good news is that I actually got all my photos (o.k., most of my photos) taken care of. They are neatly tucked into albums that form some sense. The naughty news…well, there isn’t really any not good news. It was fun to go through all those pictures, and I had them from all stages of my life (and hence all stages of my hair).
This one, in specific, caught my eye. This is from my sister’s wedding, which was taken a couple of years before my first Bosley Hair Restoration. To me, the receding/balding in that photo is fairly obvious. Compare it to something current, and I think you’ll agree there’s fairly a difference. While I’m never going to have the same hair I did when I was 22, I think I have made major improvements by where I was and where I was going.

Greetings Dr. Rassman. I just would like to know why most MPB only occurs on the top of the head(meaning frontal, top and crown area) and not on the sides?? What is the difference of the scalp on top of a male’s head and the scalp in the sides?
There is no clear reply as to why the hair only falls out at the front, top, and crown. The reality is that the fringe seen in the … [visit site to read more]

Hi doc! Thank you for your excellent and informative blog! I’ve been hearing things recently about using the very potent aromatase inhibitor anastrozole to prevent the ‘estrogenic’ side effects of finasteride. Anastrozole drastically reduces estrogen levels in men and, unsurprisingly, raises free testosterone as well. Would you be comfortable with one of your patients adding anastrozole (’Arimidex’) to his propecia regimen, or would you see that is opening up a whole other ‘can of … [visit site to read more]

I have fairly a lot of hair in my neckline. The hair is thick and straight, which makes me wonder whether it could be transplanted to my head. I have already had 1000 grafts via FUE, and I see the diffuse sample from the FUE transplant whenever I trim my hair very shut to the scalp. Using neck hair seems like a way to augment the donor pool, but I don’t know how receptive the scalp is to that type of hair and whether FUE performed on the neck would leave visible scarring. What … [visit site to read more]

Dr. Hamilton’s DEEP Skin Care has launched with a new technology that the skin care industry has pursued for years: enhanced absorption. Developed by Beverly Hills dermatologist, Douglas Hamilton M.D., co-author of the universal best seller, “Beverly Hills Beauty Secrets” (Wiley and Sons, publisher) the line deals with the complexity and difficulty of getting theoretically valuable ingredients, such as anti-oxidants, to absorb deeply ample to actually yield their intended effects.
“It is of little use to have a wonderful list of ingredients in your anti-aging cream or lotion whether they merely sit on the label or your skin surface,” says Dr. Hamilton. “We have a patent-pending absorption enhancer (DEEP Delivery Enhancer, or DCE) which increases the penetration of our anti-aging night cream (DEEP Cell Activate, or DCA). The enhancer comes out of the jar as a powder-quantified by our tiny serving spoon- and converts to a liquid in your palm; next it is applied to the face. Two minutes later, our DEEP Cell Activate is applied by it, therein obtaining maximum absorption of the anti-aging DCA.”
The DEEP Cell Activate reconditions and protects the skin in two ways at two levels: #1) It contains ceramides which are needed for a healthy outer layer of skin, i.e., the epidermis. It has been recognized recently by basic science research that a healthy epidermis is the most effective protection against age-inducing free radicals that the skin possesses. The DCA helps preserve epidermal health and slows the aging process. #2) It contains all the highest ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) rated and most needed anti-oxidants so far discovered: Vitamins C & E, açaí, and goji berries. Additionally, the derivative of retinoic acid (retinyl palmitate) can help stimulate collagen synthesis.
“We have dramatic before and after photos from our twelve week clinical studies which demonstrate changes greater than we had a right to expect. My position on skin care has always emphasized prevention not reversal of aging; we leave that to procedures. However, our trials are beginning to change my position on that. No Photoshop. Simply the truth.”
Dr. Hamilton’s new DEEP Skin Care Line can be purchased online at www.deepskincare.com and at choose Beverly Hills boutiques.

Under Skin Care
The key to getting the right product for your skin is to know your skin type. There are actually four basic skin types and they are:
- Dry Skin – appears wrinkled and dry with no shine and with small pores
- Normal Skin – appears radiant and healthy looking with a smooth texture
- Combination Skin – appears healthy but with some oiliness on the T-zone area
- Oily Skin – appears very shiny with large pores

Once you know your skin type it will be easy to choose what products to buy. When buying skin cleansers and moisturizers, always read the label for dry skin products.
These products have increasingly components that will hydrate your skin all day to keep it looking supple. They are generally cream based as that gives additional moisture to the skin.
Oily and combination skin products on the other hand prevents too much oil production so they are either fluid, gel or water based that is easily absorbed by the skin leaving it moisturized but with less grease.
Normal skin products are easy to find but be careful to read the contents and do not buy products that have harsh ingredients that will harm your skin. So next moment you visit your favorite store remember to read the label.

Hi there,
Thanks for that blog it really is so helpful to many of us! I am 24 and definitely going bald, all the men in my family on both sides have MPB. Although I am going bald, at the moment I am hiding it pretty well with what I have but it’s getting to the point where I can’t hide it any longer, so I plan on going on Finasteride in the hope I can conserve what I have.
My only concern is that I have heard some terrible stories about Finasteride actually causing an initial … [visit site to read more]
