I Want to Use Cream to Remove My Scalp Hair, But Not Permanently

November 1st, 2011 at 03:47pm Under Hair Loss+ Hair Products+ Hair Removal+ Hair Removal Cream+ Shaving

Hello Dr. Rassman, I’m a young man experiencing MPB, and I’ve decided I want to embrace it. I’d rather not shave my head since I find razors irritate my skin. My question is this: Do you know of any hair removal creams that are safe for use on the scalp? I’ve read varying reports that indicate Nair can damage the scalp. Furthermore, if I later choose to have a transplant or other hair restoration procedure done, would the earlier use of hair removal cream alter my hair’s regrowth in any way once I cease using the product? Thanks for your informative site and the time you devote to answering all our questions! There seems to be many warnings on using depilatories such as Nair. The warnings suggest chemical burns and damage may result from their use on the scalp. It appears that your options are limited to shaving. Try different razors or shaving creams to see if that helps reduce irritation. Tags: hair removal , scalp hair , nair Paid advertisements (not an endorsement):

Tyra Banks: I Don’t Have to Shave My Legs

September 7th, 2011 at 11:01am Under Hair Removal+ Personal Care+ Shaving

Many women would say that shaving their legs is their least favorite beauty task, but for Tyra Banks , there’s no need to bother with the the razors-and-shaving-cream rigmarole in the first place. Tyra explains to Life & Style , “I don’t have to shave my legs,” adding, “The hair is so faint, you don’t even see it.” Not all of us are as lucky as Tyra (although what law ever said anyone had to shave their legs, anyway?), who admits there have been times she actually has whipped out the razor. “I used to shave my legs for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show . . . and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue shoot,” she quips. Look for Life & Style out on newsstands Friday nationwide, and tell us: if you have fine or light-toned hair, do you forgo shaving, too?

In the News – Adonia Hair Removal Cream

June 21st, 2011 at 07:49pm Under Electrolysis+ Hair Loss+ Hair Products+ Hair Removal+ Products+ Shaving

Snippet from the article: A cream which slows the growth of hair by 70 per cent could result in men shaving just once every three weeks. It works on both men and women, meaning five o’clock shadows and girls spending hours in the bath shaving their legs could soon be a thing of the past. Adonia hair serum uses organic plant oils to weaken hair formation and is being hailed as a healthy alternative to expensive hair removal treatments such as electrolysis. More than 10,000 people have already put their names on a waiting list for the product. During trials in the U.S. the hair reducer showed an impressive 46 per cent reduction in hair growth after 21 days with a 70 per cent reduction after six weeks. Read the full story — The gel that slows hair growth and lets men shave every THREE WEEKS I can’t tell you how tired I am of shaving my facial hair, so if this is real, it would be very welcome. I can imagine women would love to give this a try, rather than shaving their legs. The product, Adonia Hair Reducer, is for sale via a 3rd party seller on Amazon.com, but there are a few reviews that are highly suspect. Three of the four reviews were posted on the same day, and the reviewers have only written about products sold by that 3rd party seller. Glowing reviews, of course. I don’t know whether the cream actually does what it says, but the reviews I’ve found are more than likely phony, and I can’t find any other mentions of the product actually being used. Ergonomic Beauty Products to Make Your Life Easier

May 24th, 2011 at 01:01pm Under Hair Removal+ Personal Care+ Products

When you think of ergonomics, you probably think of oddly shaped keyboards and office chairs equipped to reduce strain on the back, but you likely don’t think of beauty products. However, there are a whole slew of personal care goods that feature such well-thought-out designs as swerved handles, smoothed angles, and curved mechanisms that can make your life a whole lot easier. Japonesque’s ergonomic mini tweezer set ($29), for instance, is made specifically for maximizing comfort and control during hair removal. And then there’s Klhip’s Ultimate Clipper , a hefty price at $70, but you’ll have it forever. Its reversed lever makes cutting softer and smoother, so much that you’ll find you probably won’t need to file your nails after grooming. And thanks to its gentler pressure, you’ll love that clippings won’t go flying to no man’s land during the process. To see more ergonomic beauty products and discover more, just click on any of the images above.

I Have a Full Head of Hair But I Want to Go Bald!

May 2nd, 2011 at 07:44pm Under Hair Loss+ Hair Removal+ Laser Hair Removal+ Shaving

Hello, Fantastic website, thank you! I have an unusual, but serious question. Is there anyway to artificially start hair loss in a man who is not genetically predisposed to do so? I am 27, and currently show no signs whatsoever of balding, but I dislike the color and texture of my hair and would prefer to go completely bald. Shaving it regularly is a pain. Thanks I would think most of the readers of this site would be shocked to hear you want to go bald. Unfortunately (?) if you don’t have the baldness genes, you’re not going to lose hair from genetics. If shaving is something you are tired of and you want a permanent solution, I am sure you can try laser hair removal… but that would be costly, painful, and it would take many treatment sessions. I really don’t know. I’m in the business of growing hair, not removing it. Good luck. Tags: hairloss , hair loss , bald Paid advertisements (not an endorsement):
