Child With Rare Disorder Fights Prejudice.

Supatra Sasuphan is a little girl like any other: she enjoys playing with friends, going to school, learning new things.  However, there is one thing about her that is slightly different: she has been diagnosed with Ambras Syndrome, an extremely rare genetic defect that only affects one out of a billion citizens.  In fact, only 50 citizens have been diagnosed with it since 1648.  It basically covers your entire back, neck and face in hair, giving the impression that the person is a werewolf.  At the age of 7, she is still too young to consider shaving or medical creams, but they have tried laser hair removal. Unfortunately, it did not work.   Her family hopes to one day find a permanent cure.
