Murads Acne Treatment Product Awards

MuradMurad, Inc. recently received beauty awards from Allure, Fitness and Shape magazines for excellence in the development of acne treatment products.

Selected from among thousands of beauty products, Murad’s Acne Treatment Concealer was chosen to get Allure’s annual beauty award, while Murad’s Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 was the recipient of annual beauty awards from both Fitness and Shape magazines.

“It is always rewarding to be recognized for the efficacy of our products,” said Howard Murad, M.D., Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA and founder of Murad, Inc. “Acne is the most common skin disease, so it is encouraging to see that our research-supported formulas have been singled out as truly effective in preventing and fighting breakouts.”

Allure’s beauty editors named Murad’s Acne Treatment Concealer the recipient of the 2009 Best of Beauty award in the category of Best Blemish Concealer. Allure famous that the product is “spiked with salicylic acid to treat zits, but the creamy, no-budge formula won`t dry out skin.”

In addition, Fitness` editors selected Murad’s Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 as the Best Everyday Face Protector for their 2009 Beauty Awards. Editors reported that the formula is “reduces oil production all day.”

It was the readers of Shape that voted Murad’s Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 as winner of the annual “Shape of Beauty Awards” in the category of Dermatologist qualitys. Shape famous that the “botanical-infused potion was shown to reduce oil buildup by up to 78 percent for increasingly than eight hours.”
