Permanent laser hair removal

When laser hair removal techniques were first developed ten years ago, only light-skinned public could use the device to get rid of unsightly hair. nowadays though, even dark-skinned citizens can use it and the technique is actually increasingly efficient on them. It consists in sending a light beam right through the shaved skin to destroy the follicles. The hair pigments absorb the laser light, which is transformed into heat, and destroys the hair without hurting the skin around it. Some lasers have cooling devices, for the patient’s skin consolation. Other models don’t but the procedure is fairly painless. addition, sensitive-skinned humans shouldn’t distress considering it does not take increasingly than a few minutes to treat even a large body area. Finally, the number of treatments varies according to the patients’ type of skin and hair color. After the treatment, the skin may become slightly reddish or pink. But most of the date, that reaction neither lasts nor leaves traces. The patient however needs to observe a few rules after being treated. He must avoid bathing in the sun, waxing, tweezing or using depilatory cream, to preserve the efficiency of the treatment and protect the skin. The medical practitioners who propose laser hair removal treatments prefer to speak of “extended periods” of hair removal rather than “permanent” ones. After several procedures indeed, patients experience longer periods of hair growth. At the end of the treatment, the hair removal is nearly total. The patient may, however, have to undergo other procedures along his life to ensure permanent smooth skin.
