Shampoo, Rinse, Repeat – Really?

For a expanded day now, we have understood those ubiquitous directions on the back of the shampoo bottle, of Shampoo, Lather, Rinse, Repeat, as being a marketing gimmick that only meant double sales for the manufacturers. We were told that it was ample to shampoo just once, twice would strip the hair.
However, according to some hair specialists, it is necessary to shampoo twice for proper and total cleaning of the scalp and hair.
According to Robert Weir of Oscar Oscar salons, the first shampoo breaks down the oils and in the repeat shampooing, the dirt molecules are got rid off.
So the question is what whether you wash your hair every day? Here the advice is that you should just rinse out your hair one day and next shampoo properly the next day. Or a gentle, everyday shampoo should be used, it is recommended.
It is claimed that washing hair twice as so many shampoos recommend (though many don’t, and yet others say “repeat whether necessary”) can in fact have favourable effects. It can give you that fresh, bouncy hair of your childhood, it is claimed.
So you may want to give it a try, wash twice, every two days; possibly it is just what the doctor, or in that case hair specialist ordered?
